Mercury launches 7-inch phablet, mTAB Lite at Rs 6,000


 



NEW DELHI: Computer peripheral manufacturer Kobian, which operates under the brand name Mercury, has launched its mTAB Lite phablet in India.

 

This device measures 12mm in thickness, has a 7-inch screen, weighs 320gram and has been priced at Rs 6,000.


The new mTAB Lite phablet runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) platform and is powered by a 1GHz Vimicro Cortex A8 processor.

 

This tablet has 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and supports 32GB extendable memory through microSD card.

Connectivity options in Mercury mTab Lite inclide Wi-Fi, 2G, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 3.0.

 

It has cameras of VGA resolution in the front as well as on back. It comes with battery capacity of 2,700mAh.

Sushmita Das, country manager - India, Kobian, said, "We are glad to announce the launch of mTAB Lite - ultra slim phablet.

 

Wide screen, dual cameras, sim for calling, powerful processor, OS that offers apps, games etc are the major features required in a tablet."
