Want a big-screen smartphone aka a phablet but have a small budget? Well Karbonn’s A25 is one such option you can consider. The device is available on online retail stores Infibeam and Saholic for Rs 6,590.
Key features of the phablet are
• 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480×800 pixels resolution.
• 1GHz dual-core processor.
• It has 512MB RAM and 512MB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 32GB by MicroSD card.
• There is a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA camera in front.
• It comes with a 2,000mAh battery.
The phablet is a dual-SIM phablet that supports GSM on both the SIMs. As far as OS is concerned it runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. This is not a 3G device however and supports only 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.
According to the websites, the device will begin shipping in two to three days. No word yet on when it will hit the other stores.
