Nokia Lumia 520 Pops Up on eBay, Goes for $240 in Factory Unlocked Flavor

Although Nokia Lumia 520’s UK launch is right around the corner, we really don’t know when or if the entry-level Windows Phone 8 device will hit America. That is on a proper release, because a few Lumia 520 models are already available via an eBay top-rated third-party seller named Never MSRP.

The store seems to have “more than 10” red Lumias and “more than 10” black ones in stock, which is probably going to be enough for a few days. That’s both because folks are reluctant to buy from eBay sellers (even top-rated ones) and because the Lumia 520 on sale is a factory-unlocked version which will only work on AT&T and T-Mobile with limited 3G.

Be that as it may, the 520 still offers a nice bang for the buck. By the way, the phone is $239.99 in both red and black. With a 4-inch 800 x 480 pix res IPS LCD panel, the gadget is a feisty little fellow, packing a dual-core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of memory and a 1,430 mAh battery beneath its hood.

There’s also a 5 MP snapper slapped on the 520’s back, microSD support and all the usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Anyone looking to take advantage of this unexpected early “deal”?
