Acer has launched a new laptop in the Indian market under its TravelMate series and is known as the Acer TravelMate P243. This Acer notebook comes pre-loaded with a unique suite of security and task managing solutions. It offers users with advanced data protection using Acer ProShield Security, Acer Office Manager (AOM) and eRecovery Manager.
This Acer notebook will be available with Intel’s 3rd generation Core i-series processors with Turbo Boost technology. The pricing for the Acer TravelMate P243 starts from Rs 36,000 and it mainly focused towards small to medium business segment.
The TravelMate P243 is equipped with a 14-inch high-definition backlit LED display and it also includes Acer’s FineTouch keyboard which is designed for accurate and comfortable typing. Acer has mentioned in the press release that the laptop is built for long lasting use as the TravelMate series goes through various reliability tests. It is enclosed in a generic casing however it features steel hinges that offer 20,000 integrations of hinge cycling, making it more sturdy and durable than most other laptops in the market.
It also sports a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M graphics processor for improved multimedia capabilities. It has a USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0+HS connectivity.
