Lava Launches 4" Iris N400 Android 4.0 Handset For Rs. 6400

Lava Launches 4" Iris N400 Android 4.0 Handset For Rs. 6400
Domestic phone manufacturer Lava has upped its smartphone portfolio with the addition of the Iris N400. This entry-level smartphone sports a 4" screen and a 1 GHz CPU. Similar to the N320 and N350, this handset supports dual-SIM (GSM) functionality. On the software front, this is Lava's first phone to feature Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) out of the box. For photography, the phone is equipped with a 5 mp camera. Here's the complete list of features:
  • 4.0" TFT capacitive screen with pixel dimensions of 800x400; 16 million colours.
  • 1 GHz CPU, 512 MB of RAM.
  • 5MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, 0.3MP front-facing camera.
  • 127 MB internal memory, MicroSD card slot (supports up to 32 GB).
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G.
  • 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Micro-USB port.
  • Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
  • Dual SIM (GSM + GSM).
  • Ambient light sensor, Orientation sensor, Proximity sensor.
  • 1500 mAh battery.
The Iris N400 is available for Rs 6400 at popular online stores. There's nothing groundbreaking in terms of specs, but the price tag is reasonable. Not many phones in this segment come with a 4" screen and ICS; the N400 does win a few brownie points in terms of value for money
