Purported photos show Sony Honami’s camera UI and Xperia Z comparison

In the past few weeks, rumor mills have been frequently spitting out information on Sony’s forthcoming Honami aka i1. We have seen rendered and real-life photos of the device, and now GadgetHelpLine has posted a set of photos showing the Honami alongside the Xperia Z and the interface of its rumored 20-megapixel camera.

The comparison photos show both the Honami and the Xperia alongside each other and design-wise both the devices look identical.

As we have reported before, the design language remains the same, sporting the now familiar straight-edged design. The only differentiating factor is that the Honami is slightly longer than the Xperia Z.

On the camera front, the interface is quite different to what we have seen on previous Xperia smartphones. According to the pictures, the camera includes features like Timeshift burst mode, ‘Broadcast live video to Facebook’ and Photo Effects.

One interesting feature is the AR Effect, which seems to use augmented reality to overlay different backgrounds to the photo you are clicking.

As with most leaks, we ask you take the above information with the proverbial pinch of salt.
