Xolo set to launch another Quad-core smartphone Xolo Q1000 at sub Rs 15K




Xolo is all set to launch a new Quad-core smartphone- Xolo Q1000- which has appeared on e-commerce site flipkart.com. There is no official word from the company about its official launch and portal does not mention its price either. However a source revealed that it will be available below Rs15, 000.

In our last report we mentioned that the race for the Quad-core smartphones is heating up. This is just one more addition to a number of smartphones launched with Quad-core processors.  Recently, Zolo launched Q800 and Q700 smartphones with same processor. Micromax and Karbonn have also launched Quad-core smartphone recently.

The Xolo Q1000 has a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels with a pixel density of 295ppi. The dual-SIM ((GSM + GSM) smartphone runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.

The device comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor and a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera. It has a 2,100mAh battery.

The Xolo Q1000, as per the listing on Flipkart has 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. For connectivity, the phone 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 options.

Last week Zolo had launched Q700 which it claims is world’s first multi profile Android smartphone with 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor. The device has a price tag of Rs 9999.

While launching this phone the company clearly suggested that it is banking on  a full range of smartphones with Quad–Core processors under its new QCORE series. Earlier, the company had launched its first Quad-core smartphone Q800, XOLO - the Premium Smartphone brand.
