They're everywhere nowadays, infographics. Initially intended to make
complex information easy to comprehend, they increasingly seem an excuse
to surround numbers with pretty colours and pictures. But! Lovely idea.
And it's quite a lovely idea that three-person studio Digital Dreams is
inspired by infographics in its "puzzle action game" Metrico, announced
earlier this week for Vita.
As for what the downloadable game actually is, ah, details are thin on the ground for now.
"Metrico centers around infographics," Digital Dreams said in the announcement. "It's an atmospheric puzzle action game that strives to create a unique mindset of its own." And that's about all.
The announcement teaser trailer certainly looks swish, though be clear it's not actual gameplay.
