With all the iPhone
coverage iOS recently, you may experience a little iPhone envy. Of course your
Android phone has many features iOS 5, but for some reason, the features just
seem sexier iPhone.
To help you during
this difficult time, we found a free application that makes your Android phone
look and feel exactly like an iPhone. In fact, it’s so believable, you might
even forget your desire iOS.
Espie launcher
replaces your home screen by default Android with iPhone-style
interface.
Impressive enough
Espie same functions as an iPhone – Slide to the left to find your phone, create
folders by dragging app icons on the other, drag to the toolbar to reveal the
multitasking, and view account notification of messages and missed
calls.
You’ll also find some
things missing iOS. For example, drag the bar up to reveal multitasking, then go
right to access to useful shortcuts to Wi-Fi, rotation lock, network settings,
brightness and volume.
Here are some tips to
navigate Launcher Espie:
If you have an older
Android phone, the interface could be a little lag, but can be improved by
pressing the menu button, select Preferences, and uncheck animation
effects.
To uninstall
an application from the Home screen, press an icon into an app, and click the
X.
To reorder
the applications, press and hold any application icon and drag to the desired
location.
Close
applications by dragging from the bottom of the screen, press and hold an icon,
and press the minus sign in all the applications you want to
close.
To make your
default interface Espie Launcher, press the home button, check the box next to
“Use default for this action,” and press Launcher Espie.
Let’s be
honest – it is probably more a matter of time before Espie disappears from the
Android Market. This is a blatant rip-off of the mobile operating system from
Apple, so do not expect to stick around. Now take for you to enjoy the
interface, even for a moment.
