LG has introduced the Optimus L3 II and
L5 II in India more than a month after their Dual versions hit stores
shelves and the OEM has also revealed their price details. The former is
now available through select online retailers in India and will be
shipped within 2 to 3 days, while the latter will be here very soon.
The first contender codenamed E425 measures 102.9 x 61.3 x 11.9 millimeters and accommodates a 3.2-inch multi-touch IPS display capable of rendering visuals in QVGA (320 x 480p) resolution. A 3MP shooter rests on the rear panel and allows users to record videos, besides capturing decent-quality images. Its ability to multitask can be attributed to a 1GHz processor that hides under the hood along with 512MB of RAM.
It can be expected to provide an intuitive interface, thanks to the Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 platform. Featuring an accelerometer, a proximity sensor and a digital compass, the phone comes with support for 3G mobile networks and has built-in Wi-Fi for internet access through open hotspots. There’s Bluetooth as well and it has been embedded with a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB 2.0 port. The device draws power from a 1540mAh battery.
The E450 or the second one arrives splashed in shades of black and white. This lightweight smartphone tips the scales at merely 103 grams and employs a 4-inch 800 x 480p touchscreen with a pixel density of 223ppi. Its 5MP snapper tags along a number of attributes such as auto focus, LED flash, 4x digital zoom, cheese shutter, geotagging and the ability to record videos to name a few.
Its 4GB internal memory can be expanded by up to 32GB using a microSD card and the company offers 50GB storage space on Box. The phone acquires multitasking properties from a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, while a 1700mAh battery shoulders the responsibility of keeping the handset charged for close to 10 hours. All the common features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, audio jack, MP3 player, USB port and more have also been thrown into the mix.
The LG Optimus L3 II is now up for grabs through Infibeam for Rs. 7,199 and the L5 II carries a retail tag of Rs. 10,499.
