Mahindra Two Wheeler, the bike and scooter division of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), has launched a new bike, Pantero, in the 110 cc segment of the Indian auto industry. The model is reported to be designed at the auto maker’s in-house Research and Development (R&D) centre in Pune. According to sources, M&M has designed the model in a record time of 1.5 years, which has been a benchmark for the company. The production of recently launched Pantero is reported to be followed at Mahindra’s plant in Pithampur, near Indore.

Recently launched Pantero has a comfortable seat, with a length of 774 mm, which is reported to be the longest-in-class in Mahindra’s two-wheeler product portfolio. It has a ground clearance of 165 mm, which enables the rider to take this bike on any drivable surface. The new motorcycle from Mahindra is equipped with an advanced MCi-5 Micro Chip Ignited 5-Curve engine, which has the potential to churn out a peak power of around 8 bhp with decent torque delivery. Along with a brilliant output, the Mahindra Pantero also delivers impressive fuel efficiency, as it covers around 79.5 kmpl (according to ARAI certification).

The model comes with several outstanding features like digital instrumental cluster, LED pilot light as well as tail lamps, digital tachometer and choke. The digital instrumental cluster of new Pantero comprises a trip meter, speedometer, fuel gauge and clock.
