Lava Xolo X500 price and release date details narrowed down, encases Intel Atom SOC




The Lava Xolo X500 price and release date have been declared as the manufacturer announces the existence of its first dual SIM smartphone fitted with an Intel processor. The handset isn’t up for purchase as of now, but the company duly states that it should be heading towards stores 2 to 3 days from today.
From the interior, the Xolo X500 driven by an Intel Atom Lexington Z2420 processor with a clock speed of up to 1.2GHz and the CPU employs Hyper Threading technology in order to enable concurrent functioning of multiple processes. The SoC will be packing a 400MHz GPU and it will be assisted by 512MB of RAM. The device bears a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen on its front panel, while a 5MP camera takes refuge on the flip side. Users will be able to view content at a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and they could also take pleasure in 1080p video playback. The main snapper comes with the burst mode feature which permits clicking 7 images almost instantaneously.

To store content, 4GB of internal memory has been provided. There is also an expansion slot that supports a microSD card of up to 32GB in case users’ hoarding needs surpass the embedded flash storage capacity. The phone offers 3G connectivity and comes bundled with a 1,500mAh battery. It will be rocking Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and there is no information regarding a possible upgrade at present.
