Computer manufacturer Acer India on Tuesday launched a seven-inch tablet called Iconia B1 for Rs 7,999 (inclusive of taxes), making it the first global player to enter this segment. The Acer B1 was launched internationally at Consumer Electronics Show held recently in Las Vegas and has been made available to consumers in the Indian market simultaneously, the company said. It has high-screen resolution, video playback and a fluid touch-friendly experience, optimised for speed.
